I'd rather you got the wrong impression of me
Than have you thinking nothing of me at all.
So if you open up and don't like what you see
Remember to take it with a pinch of salt.

It's a struggle to keep your head,
When the interest is stolen and sold.
An it's a race to keep up with whats said
When you make rust to look like gold.

So if the words fail us again
And the moment is too much to bare
Then don't let it fade out in vain
And waste the time we have to spare.
