Deep within the darkest pits,
are the dreams and wishes I have,
locked away, hidden, afraid to come out.
Then a light from the future
reaches deep into my soul
awakens those spirits that slept
voices long since forgotten
feelings I stopped wanting to have.
Now I sit and ponder
wondering where my life will lead
Will it go with the one that awoke them?
Or another place instead?
Do dreams come true?
Can fantasy become reality?
Or is it all within my head?
The feelings awoken, the spirits within.
How can I tell if they're real?
How could they have awoken,
when we shared that first kiss?
How could a moment so true,
be such a simple hit and miss!
