We are bare footed

Walking through the

Grass of some empty

Lot and our fingers

Are entwined, we're

Constantly looking up

Looking at the night

Sky and watching the

Fireflies light the

Path for us.  The

Crickets are serenading

And we're going nowhere

Fast.  But at least

I have you to take me

Along the way.  You

Would have never guessed

But I'm the one that's

Ready to admit that I

need you and I love it

When your eyes light up

After you throw your

Awkward smile my way.

We're just living through

today and we're taking

small kisses each step of

the way and i know that we're

going to be this way forever

i know that we're going to stay.

we're going to stay in love

and you're going to feel

the warmth of my skin

next to yours every

morning and

then we

will

always

be

happy.
