Orion my friend
Glad to see you again,
How have you been.

Not much has changed
Since you last flew over.

My body's a little older,
My heart's a little colder,

And this world's a little darker
And we all grow a little starker.

Irrationality incites insanity.
Boredom breeds belligerence.
Apprehension amasses apathy.

When I see you in the sky
I ask the good Lord why
He made it where we die

So often by each other's hand.
This Darkness continues to expand.

This Darkness which darkens
The sunniest of days and turns
The nights into a black hole.

This Darkness which kills the
Good and envelops evil spreading
It to every corner of your earth.

This Darkness which makes
The young feel old and the
Old feel like they are dead.

This Darkness
Will end us.

So Orion my friend,
Will I see you again?
