Time at Sea

Folder:
Just a thought!

Aboard a sea worthy vessel , averaging nine knots

Crabbing the Bering Sea, with a hundred-twenty pots

She carries a six man crew with five souls on deck

Captain in the wheelhouse, keeping things to spec

Treading icy waters to make the season's catch

Quality and quota, determines what they fetch

Tanks topped off, stacking gear, they make a final sort

All hands called in and accounted for, headed into port

Hours pass through blustery waves, a lighthouse stands at bay

You throttle back, blast the horns, it's a dam good fishing day!
