Your heart was warm

Your words were kind

It was the calm before the storm

Stranded in a messed up state of mind

The tears we cried

The words we said

Our love had died

By our thoughts we yelled

We run in fear

And let our bodies stray

With no reins to steer

Why should we stay

If not only for one reason

We bite out tongues and show we care

It's now the start of a new season

Because our love we chose to share

From a far a kiss I blow

No more lives for us to fake

I see you smile as you start to glow

In the morning together we wake
