Passions Flight

Folder:
Love Poems

Into the night she calls out for Him,
for His love is what she awaits.
Clinging somewhere between hope and lust,
she awaits her Sire so that they may mate.

Among the sky so blue at night,
He pulls her to Him as they begin their flight.
Wrapping His arms around her waist,
He caresses her for their love is right.

Catching her love with brown eyes,
He knows she is for Him so true.
So high He takes her into loves skies,
And takes away everything that's made her blue.

Pushing aside a strand of her hair,
He kisses the lips of the one who holds His love,
she is His maiden fare,
His love is her until He is called to the heavens above.

As their flight comes to an end,
He wraps His arms around her and pulls her near,
His life with her is where He'll spend,
For everything she is to Him is all dear.

Beautifully written. Simple, but I read a passionate ritual like two fireflies in a dance. Nice work!
