It's funny how I've turned into glass,
You don't even seem to notice me,
that is okay cause I'll find someone new,
Who has eyes that can believe in what they see.
My life was dedicated to you, I did no wrong,
But it did't seem to matter to you anyway,
Flowers, cards, hugs, and kisses everyday,
But somehow you decided to run away.
I hope each tear that splatters upon this page,
Causes a mild serge in your heart,
Life won't seem the same without me,
It was you that tore us apart.
Now your with your other man,
Who you alredy complain about,
I see the crystal tears that you cry,
And now you are feeling doubts.
So there you have it, I hope you cry,
Cause now I'm just a silent memory,
Just remeber when you look back,
You will never ever see me.
Wow! That's about all I can say. Amazing poem. Keep up the good work.

I like this title...caught my attention very quickly.Smilesz... and how apt it is...to relate a glass to one who has such sad bitter memories... It's admirable how u weave the emotions into this plait of sorrow... SMilesz...simply WOWOW..
this was such a painful read..... I could so relate to this one... well done
Tommy, This is a relly great poem. Really expresses your pain. Very well done. Please see also my poem "Bernie". Boy, can I relate. Great job. Geneva
I like this poem but....I don't think there can ever be one to blame for a breakup, the blame must be shared by two. But best not to blame at all but just to say it wasn't meant to be. Good writing.
