Between the Li(n)es

The next time you sit down and read one of my poems, make sure to read between the lines

Then you might realize that they are much more than a plethora of corrupted cries and repugnant rhymes

When you digest my suicidal stanzas, i want you to feel the pain that i endure every single day

When you inhale one of my dismal descriptions of my life, i want you to feel sorrow for my soul in every single way

In case you haven't noticed, all of my works have particular common themes

But it surprisingly still seems that no one out there can hear my silent screams

Death on white lined paper is how I release my animosity and is my special little way to perpetually bleed

I publicly showcase my Great Depression and exlaim my battle cry, praying for salvation and a chance to finally succeed

Some say I'm merely wasting my time, some marvel at my audacious art

Some think I'm faking it all, but this darkhorse can assure you that everything he writes derives straight from his dark heart

Listen to my lyrics and you'll say to yourself that this child must be deranged in the head

I'm not looking to make money on my tainted talents anytime soon; I'll be as famous as Dante and Shakespeare once I'm dead

In the midst of all this infinite sadness, I still have the hope of someday being healed and feeling better

But until that long awaited day arrives, I'll still walk these sullied sidewalks alone in this bleak world...scribbling yet another suicide letter.

This is by far one of my favourite poems of yours, simply because i can deeply relate to its meaning. I know that when reading poetry it can be interpreted how you wish but in a way that you get what the author was trying to get across, and I understand completely.
Whenever I write a single stanza, line or even one word it's my personal cry that I'm trying to share with the world, even if others just think it is simple poetry to me it's like my own private helpline because atleast one person is reading it even if that person is me.
I love this poem immensly simply because it amazes me, I must have read it at least sevral times by now so I tohught it was time for a comment (: You are a terrific writer by far (:
