I reach for a star, but that star, it doesn't shine,

I reach for your hand, but I only find mine.

Through all the hate and anger, I love you more than you'll ever know,

I've been holding onto nothing for way too long; it's so hard to let you go.



I yearn for the answers, but to the right destination, there is not a sign.

I yearn to kiss your lips, but our paths, they will never again intertwine.

Beyond all the tears and screams, I care about you more than I can ever show,

Send our souls on their separate ways out to sea and watch them go with the ocean's flow.



I search for the truth, but the honestly, it is hidden far behind all the livid lies,

I search for your pretty face, but my vision is blurry from all my contagious cries.

In between the fears and depression, my heart and blood have become colder than the Arctic ice and snow,

There's no point in living this pseudo illusion any longer; let's throw our future and dreams away far below.





I wish I could have a second chance, but our hearts, they don't align,

I wish I could tell you that I'm sorry, but I think that I've already crossed the line.

Underneath the animosity and disagreements, my love for you is brighter than the moon could ever glow,

But our fairy tale has become a tragedy, so we must sadly stop the show.



I want to take our relationship forward, but to do that, I must first push rewind,

I want to touch and see your beautiful body, but I am hopelessly numb and blind.

In the midst of the rapture and rapprochement, it still hurts from when we were shot with the golden bow,

Praying to fly into your heavenly arms when deep inside I know that I'll forever be caught in the undertow.



I reach for a star, but that star, it will never shine.

I reach for my only love, but no longer is she mine.

Through all this pain and sorrow, I miss you more than you'll ever know.

I love you with all my heart, now I watch you quickly go.
