Sometimes words are hurtful

Sometimes words are kind

Sometimes love is wonderful

Sometimes love is blind



Some friendships are forever

Sometimes they are not

True friends will always be there

To help you no matter what



Sometimes the sky is vivid blue

Then sometimes it becomes slate grey

And sometimes, just like life

The sky changes from day to day



Sometimes life is beautiful

Sometimes it is quite bleak

But life is what you make of it

Certainly not a game for the weak



When someone stands beside you

You can lean on them and tell

That friendship will last for eternity

And that friend will serve you well



So if you feel you’re lost inside

I want to help you find your way

I’ll walk with you on life’s rocky roads

And together we can walk into a better day!
