Roses are red

Violets are blue

No one can change

How much I love you

        A love this strong

        A love this true

        Can be found in my heart

        For you and only you

What we have is love that's true

We helped each other conqure fears

And get through  the hard times

When all we could see was tears

        Love is a splendid thing

        When two people feel the same

       The happiness is unmeasureable

       As long as the love brings no shame

Time may bring change

Time may make love fade

But you will always have a special

Place in my heart that I made

        And if our hearts are ever broken

        We can look back on the past

        On days when love was spoken

And you can know

That until the end

And we move on to the next life

You can count me a friend
