Faint Not

Be not faint hearted in your quest,

   to acquire a life sublime;

For if you do well and it is your best,

   and you treat your brother kind;

Joy will come knocking at your door,

   you will know your life divine.

Author's Notes/Comments:

A persons life consists of more than the abundance of the things which they possess.

Not sure if the title is supposed to be "faint" as in "faint-hearted" or "feint" as in a falsified strategy. Actually, I think the poem achieves greater resonance with the second spelling as both referring to being feint (and the need to avoid being so), and a pun on "faint." You probably intended this effect all along, and I am mighty impressed with the depth of meaning you achieve by doing so.
