under the stars.

I remember

a time not so long ago.



A time when all we know

and all we cared about

was each other.



I still feel the same

touch and heartbeat.

But I don't see

the same look in your eyes.



I don't know what is different,

but your eyes tell me

that you have changed.



Your look tells me

that you have changed

towards me.



I see a kinder look there.

Not the one

that had no soul.



As we move closer

I know what has changed.

Your touch has now changed.

Your heart is more tender now.



I know that we will

always be together.

Because by the look in your eyes,

your touch, and your tender heart.
