A Morning In The South

I wake

Just before the sun

Pour a glass of tea

Then stroll outside

The wind was blowing in my face

The shine from the sun

On the wet grass

The river flowing next to me

The dogs running to me

Sayying good morning with a howl

The birds sing

Awakening the sun

As I took a drink

It was as cold as lakes in the winter

As it went down my dry throat

I feel the mist in the air

And for the frist time

I feel

Nothing is wrong

As my glass empties

I feel

Alone
