When I was young or still my conscience struck, my Grandfather invited him to his ranch for vacations; we were only he and I, and the little light of the bulb that was on in the hut, I remember we had for dinner a barbeque consisting of meat and chicken, and all the stars were shining, specially the moon hanging on the sky. The next day he taught me how to shoot by aiming cans of coca-cola with a bb gun, and how to take care of the cattle, it was a great day, I was really happy, My Grandfather the same. The next day we woke up at 7 a.m. to catch-up up with the workers of the charcoal business, they were working really hard, my grandfather was really proud, later before lunch we went over with the farmer of the ranch to explain me how the work was done, I was impressed how I really got along, moving the cows, sheep, and horseback riding in my saddle I did everything on my own, I didn’t needed help from anyone, that is what I thought, before I fell off. A while later, but the sun was still on there, My Grandfather made lunch, and we sat on the hut, finished our lunch, and went for the hunt. We sat on the blind on nowhere of the ranch, we threw hunting food, which consisted of dried corn and we stood, we stood until a wild boar came by, My Grandfather already taught me were was the spot for the shot, I was only waiting for the sign, I waited and waited, until I became desperate and to the wild boar, but it didn’t made success the shot, the boar run by, my Grandfather got mad, and he taught me a lesson, he said to me “son you have to be more careful, don’t try to do things fast, it is easy if you relax”, I have remembered that phrase, since the time of today, and it has helped me in so many ways. On the night we had the same dinner as usual, and we were really tired, so we went to sleep because the next day we were going to leave. On the road from the ranch to the city, I asked my grandfather “can we come back another day” and he really happy answered, “Whenever you like, whenever you like”.
