Wings

I'm gonna carry this weight

Till the day that I die

I'm gonna keep prayin' for your safety

Keep hoping that you'll see me

Like you did the first day we met

I'm gonna keep diggin'

My grave with a light heart

And heavy weight upon my shoulders

I'll keep singin' our old songs

With as much emotion as the first time

And you're gonna carry this weight as well

For we are still parts of the same soul

Together you and I, Dear Friend,

Can make miracles

Me and you, old friend...

We could change the world.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The reason I titled this poem "Wings" is because you remind me of an angel. I hope you know just how much you resemble them.

As much as you keep putting me as one I'm no angel. I'm more of a demon. I have something I need to talk to you about the next time your on. It's about what I said. Something you need to hear.
