Guilty of Love

You told me that I crossed the line

while your eyes penetrated mine

I asked you what I've done wrong

Don't understand what's going on

So you named it all one by one

saying: this is what you've done,

You didn't gave me any change

when you guide me into a dance

Than you wove with magic threads

sweet seduction within my needs

tingly feelings torture my veins

losing breath with yearning sighs

At that moment you took away

with a graceful enchanting sway

my very own precious part

yes...you stole my beating heart

So don't you dare tell me lies

look at me now straight in the eyes

and tell me are you really guilty dear

about these feelings that appear

And I....I was perplexed what could I do

all these blames were so very true

with innocent eyes I said:" Honey, I agree,

I am guilty of love in the first degree.

Smilesz. Is this inspired by the famous song of Bananarama's ? Wonderfully penned, especially the latter stanzas. Coincidentally, i wrote a poem based on this song too....and its title is rather similar to yours, even. Wanna see ? Smilesz. Take care...Charisma.
