The little boys outside my house will yell until they collapse
They hold rocketships and pretend to be way out in space
on a secret mission no less sent from the president himself,
Their dog was ran over yesterday but they scream at me,
"No big deal! We'll get another one!"
I don't completely agree with how they're going about
Mourning
I've convinced them now that a wolf lives in my back yard and everyday
I come home they stand still with serious looks on their face
until one let's out a,"HEY we wanna see the Wolf!"
"Yeah! We wanna see that Wolf!"
I tell them it's asleep and they
both yell in unison,
"Well Wake it up!"
My son doesn't like them much and says
"They'll probably be my best friends"
There's something about children that reminds me of a time
when I wasn't about schedules deadlines appointments time
I was about the moment
and the moment was all any of us wanted
We should all be childlike.
We should all be childlike. Adulthood smothers us with too much responsibility. But we can still be responsible players. Perhaps our responsibility IS to stay in the moment.

You definitely have a point. When you suck the curiousity and wonder out of a person, what's left?
