Willow in Lea

In cooling shade of bluebell's meadow,

secluded host to lone willow's weep

Perched songsters perform a feathered score;

from outstretched branches melodies sweep

In tenor chirp, sing the sure winged sparrows;

serenade peaks with their upward breasts

A bustling breeze  to blue silent bells,

prompts swayed dance for the musical guests

Sitting aloft in tinged backdrop of green,

swooping from sky to the willow in lea

Each kindred of flight alighting to limbs,

 forms Mother Nature's choir in the tree

Author's Notes/Comments:

Just a bit of silliness - in another handful of words.

This is one of my many asinine trivial works. It makes me roll my eyes.

Sweet sights and melodies of Nature beautifully worded

Sweet sights and melodies of Nature beautifully worded Mr Vance. For a few minutes I was quite lost "drinking in the beauty of the placid scene" Touches the tender cords of the blackest of hearts and makes it sing a tune.Overjoyed at your addiction to nature.Be drunk Sir..........

The soft silky petals weighed down with morning dew

A ladybug balancing itself on a nettle leaf reminescing

Performing the yoga & calisthenics of wondrous nature

So so happy that Carl Sir knows the tune he'll nurture

What an expose' of natural

What an expose' of natural wonder... it is delicately woven and intricately displayed... with viewers peering eyes in "inspectuous" glee. (Just a half handful of a word I made up.. ;-)

....

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Is that you behind that half

Is that you behind that half a handful of words, Elizabeth? Honestly, I really don't care much for this piece. That's just how I am though. Of course, you already know that about me. Anyway--I'm glad you enjoyed it, and hopefully you'll enjoy my next handful of words…

I found this poem intriguing - there is depth and constructs that are different that draw in the reader - nice ~allets~
