it reaches more ears then intended

how nice my, your, ours, everybody's life would be
if you could bring your troubles directly to me
since after all, they are about me
how easily would it be solved
my behaviour results in
the very opposite of my desires
somehow I create mystery and intrigue
out of the parts of myself that most bore me
whatever you think of me…
that's your own problem

that just leads to an impulse to escape
