I was kissed by music
Lifted up arpeggio - starried stairs
Up from the depths
For today I did not want to be
down in those depths
How many times have I been saved
by her purity --
The sweetness implicit
in all of her Symphonies
How often has this sinner of gutrot and bones
been borne up trembling in the Arms of Angels!
Ah Music!
The blacknesses and
darknesses dissolved
Devils beaten down by
ten - thousand angels
Spectate her nature --
gorgeous simple and sweet
The Eternal Drug
I name you worship
hope in starry eyed arms
of rhythms
Truly blessed --
I breathe God's air!
Arms of sound enclose time
and the atmospheres, rose petals
Black, red and gold...
An apocalyptic blizzard symphony
Colour and lucidity
And when breathing comes not easily
it hurts not to inhale sound,
Wretched sinner I am God -like
I am ether, I am God
I am holy in headphones,
enraptured, enshrined
A swine given over to outbursts
of Love, you are my language.
I feel the same way about music. I love the way you put it. Your symbolism is amazing.
Your writing reminds me a lot of Billy Corgan, you've the same kind of outlook on life it seems. The rhythm in the 2nd/3rd stanza was brilliant, it really captivated me.
