From Life To Death

From butterflies and angel wings

To an unknown darkness and hellish dreams

From happiness unfolding every moment you wake

To pain and agony with every step you take

From the tears of joy when I first saw your face

To the glass shattering laughter when I saw this place

From your funeral when everybody turned to stone

To the emptiness of nothing when I was at my own

From the eulogy of the sane man who knew not my name

To the devils in hiding who knew nothing but this game

From the very first moment that I walked this Earth

To the very first time they put me in the hearse...

...We were meant to be...BUT YOU FUCKED IT ALL UP!

I really loved this one. It was a great parallel: life and death, love and loss. The darkness of it meshing with the light also made a lovely touch.
