Distant Dreams

Into nothing, I slip away

Far from life I begin to stray

I reach for a hand, nothing to hold

I thought you would be waiting...

A distant shout, a silent whisper

I drop my head as my plea falls short

The blood on the walls says the plot grows thicker

My surroundings fall in, the images distort

I see a face, hidden by shadows

I try to scream, nothing comes from within

Slowly dropping to my knees in my demise

I realize this dream is about to end

That is a very swell poem. I find, that like the song "mad world" by Gary Jeules*, the dreams in which I'm dieing are the best I ever had, i'm not quite possitive if you feel the same, but oh well! I do like this poem very much though, keep writing.
