men in my life....
There were many of them,
now I have remnants of reminiscence of some....
Some made me laugh,
while some made me cry....
Some loved me boundless,
while some made a fool alike....
Some were behind after,
now they can't even behold....
Some made me feel lucky,
and m' worthy alive....
Now I reckon,
I haven't yet known, what men are?
But complicated luvin' them has been,
in the journey of life so far....
Men In My Life
The terrain was varied and inexplicable mostly, short lived predominantely. Give me money was the largest cause, do drugs with me another. One guy stole my books (poetry), one my records. Two got pissed because I would not let them use my car. Wanted to move in. Did not want me to come over. Difficult to impossible to talk about - wish I had your courage. Women have numerous defeats, until they find the right one, get married, then have a different kind of struggle emotionally - It mellows out in old age out of habit, I suppose, having never been married. May you find your souldouble. Write on! ~Star~
