Post Modernity
Post-Modernity with Spirit
Invigorate, and re-enchant
The world upon its way,-
Modernity was arrogant,
And men felt loath to pray,
But Post Modernity must not
What learning gained rebut,
Acquired by the will of God
For mankind’s greater good.
Modernity, though obsolete
And being history,
Is now replaced by stronger meat,
Called “Post Modernity”.
The humble peasant woman is
Perhaps more erudite,
Than scientists and clever whiz
That is God’s grace denied.
But Post modernity is green,
Vague, untried yet and new,-
Walk slowly in a go-between
And untried yet a shoe.
For science and technology
Both only go so far,
Yet does not know the quiddity,
Of planets, orbs or star.
But men does wish to penetrate
And fathom the Beyond,
And asks to know his final fate,
And hear a voice respond.
Ah thought! evolves, and so does man,
But God is in control,
He has and executes His plan
To suit man’s mind and soul.
Lo! man does crave for transcendence,
For purpose and a goal,
And boundless is the appetence
Of spirit, mind and soul.
The world of Post Modernity
Beef up and re-enchant!,
So that each pilgrim entity
May reach the Promised Land.
The human Spirit will transcend
Each narrative’s mode,
For man does find his final end.
And destiny in God.!
