Identification
So great the love of our Lord and God
That He so yearned to share the human lot
And opened up his healer’s arms so wide
Upon the bitter cross - and died.
He could have simply said :”- be well behaved!
Obey my teaching ,- lo and now you’r saved!”
But no, - tormented and in dread He cried.
And uttering His final cry- He died.
He burst into this world to well revise
Accepted norms,- for God identifies
With man, who troubled in the spirit sighs.
Like all of us around the world and dies.
He died abandoned and in agony,,,
Midst cruel taunts upon accursed a tree,
And suffered thus so we achieve
Forgiveness of our sins and live.
