Be Brave
Why did it take so long to recognize
That peace can be an instrument of vice,-
But now at last the sleeping giant woke,
Wounded so deeply by a fiendish stroke.-
With terrible resolve the charge to keep
Despite the wound the giant took a leap,
Against the reign of terror and of hate
To lead the nations by design and fate.
From out of ruins luminaries shine,
Tell us that we must our time define,-
Not be defined by it,- its our star
And destiny and lot to fight this war.
Pitch-blinded are the entities that roam,-
Believing murder to be martyrdom;
No holy book declares this and no writ
Proclaims this, but the scripture of the pit.
Such tenets are grotesque a travesty
Of what is sacred to humanity
From deep inferno issues this doctrine,-
Faith, - but perverted and turned outside in,
And inside out, and upside down,- this creed-
Is launched by the abyss to spawn and breed.
No scripture since the dawn of humankind
Has Allah’s love by murderous hands defined..
Unto the Lord the thousand voices cry-
Where the oppressed in helpless torment lie,
Beaten and tortured Afghan women writhe
Beneath the Talibanish murderous scythe,-.
Tall Buddhas rise up from their shards and ash
Proclaim: “What’s holy Jackals cannot smash!-
The one WHO IS and who has always been
And always shall be rules,-you cannot win.!”
Permit not rightful fury to abate
And pacifism’s poison circulate,-
A nod to hellish powers will increase
Their thirst for slaughter and atrocities.-
Look to your hero brothers! - fight! - be brave!
Fight boundless evil,- and the Lord will save.

majority of Americans, I believe, who define
patriotism differently..

Isaiah: I delight not in your blood sacrifice.
Jesus: Thou shalt not judge
May God bring the world today and forever to God's plan for
universal nonviolence
