In The Blink of an Eye

I've been living for this moment

Since the day that I was reborn

The first day of our victory

I'm hearing Gabriel's horn

I'm rising off the ground

I'm rising very high

To meet my friends and family

For some pie in the sky

All of my pains are leaving

Joy is filling up my heart

Doubts and hate are behind me

As the world and my soul part

My Father's up there waiting

He's prepaired a place for me

His loving arms are open

His love has set me free

One thousand years to celebrate

And sing to God his praise

Then the battle of Armagedon

Begins the final stage

Satan's front will stand

For with him traitors will there be

But in the end, we Christian Soldiers

Will march to victory

All these thoughts are in my head

Especialy Satan's demise

And as i'm being taken in

It's V-day for the good-guys

And after Armagedon

We complete the final test

God's court will come to sesion

And it's J-day for the rest.

Awesome poem, dude. You just left out any mention of Jesus' white horse. Any self-respecting "wanna-be cowboy," never writes a poem without at least one horse in it. lol. Sorry, being from Southeastern Oklahoma, I couldn't resist commenting on you being a "wannabe cowboy." Seriously, loved the poem. You got talent, dude.

In Christ,

This is really good. I love to read poems about the Lord, And I love even more to hear about people who love the Lord. Keep up the good work.
