If I would've known it was the last time to see you cry,

If I could've known it was the last time to hear you lie,

I would not have left feeling so very mad,

I would not have left feeling so very sad!

If we could've taken the time to walk,

If we would've had a very long talk,

We would've had the chance to make everything right,

We could've had the chance to avoid that devastating fight!

But, now look at us seperated so far apart,

And all we can see are our broken hearts,

Feeling nothing but our pain and misery,

Nothing to help us to set our hearts free!

If we could've lasted a little while longer,

We might have made our love a little more stronger!

But, now it is all back in the past,

And the pain won't always last,

Take the time just wait and you will see,

That the love we shared is gone and your just a memory!
