Today God has smiled on me,

He let me enjoy the day all happy!

The rain is here, but not the sun,

And I feel like I'm the only one!

Who is getting hurt out of this mess,

The only thing I will do is wait on her I guess!

As long as she's happy, she will soon see,

That she really needs to come to me!

It went so fast, it went so dry,

All I do is wonder why?

Why, my love, it was my dream that is hard to come true,

Trying so hard to spend every moment of my life with you!

I am still sad and full of sorrow,

But just like today, I'll be ok tomorrow!

When I'm at work, rest or play,

One last quote for you I will say!

For you, Carrie, my love will forever be there,

A promise to you, which I will swear!
