Can you forgive me

I never meant to live that way

It's me

But I've hurt you

Maybe I should change my ways

I'm thinking of a million reasons

For you to turn around

But I understand your one

Is enough to keep your ground

I feel diseased

Plagued with your face every thought

When I think of what I put you through

It ties my mind in knots

Apologies on the tip of my tongue

But my mouth is dry

And the longer I wait

The stronger the strain

On what remains of what was us

I'm dreaming

That it never happened

That I could erase the lost time

I could make you believe you're wonderful

And I wouldn't have to lie

So please take my mistake

As a foundation for me to grow

Please don't say you won't accept this
