In the valley,
I see you.
Your calm face,
Your gentle arms,
Your tender kiss,
All with me.
The trees,
Tall majestic figures,
Whisper your name.
The breeze,
Delicately drifting,
Carries traces of your scent.
The clouds,
Explosions in the sky,
Float past as I dream of you.
I can see you,
Feel you,
Breathe you,
But you’re just out of reach.
I can’t touch you,
Hold you in my arms,
Caress your beautiful features,
Because you’re too far away.
Come to me,
Hold me.
Make me feel safe.
Don’t ever leave me.
