I roll with most punches

a latter day Ali.

But the truth is you blindsided

me.

I dance around 

to wear you out.

'Til neither of us know

what we fight about.

while we shout,

before the bell rings

or I'm knocked out.

and...

we stop for a moment,

we each catch our breath.

She's the love of my Life,

and she loves me to death.

what in this fight

could we ever win?

I laid down,

took the count,

eight, nine, ten.
