Many have heard

and do not reject,

the simple premise of 

The Butterfly effect.

However, in this I must

interject,

Have you not heard of

The Buttery-fly effect?

One deals with air streams

and wings all a-flutter,

the other a fly

all dripping with butter.

The first has a hurricane

as its conclusion,

the latter slip and falls

a bruise or (contusion)

And as I consider, Please

let me stress.

It's entirely possible,

I don't digress.

One buttered fly

doubles your chance

to slip and slide

in some awkward dance.

Two means times Four

Ahhh, a mathemactical feature.

Who would've known

T'was possessed by this creature?

We'll be slip tripped up by flys

of the Buttery kind.

Children and elders, please!

gird your behind.

So that is my theory,

my ideas' been told

and here's some advice

if I might be so bold'

"Cover your butter"

when flies come to inspect.

and avoid the nasty

Buttery-Fly Effect.
