now search inside yourself

and please tell me

was it all lies



I loved to hear you sing

I loved to see you dance

now I'm sitting here lonely and sad

you left me in a trance



The first time I ever saw you

you made my heart explode

now you are gone

and all you left was a note



you used to say you loved me

you always told me I was the best

you used to say I was your dream

so please tell me why you left



Now you left me

and everything we had is gone

and I'm still wondering why
