Our beliefs don't seem to agree
So please won't you see
We have to battle it out
No talking about it over tea
One of us is not pure enough to exist,
The wrong religion
There can never be peace between us
not even a smidgen
I believe in "A", and you believe in "B"
A comes before B, so my letter must be true
You never did anything against me
But i'll drop the bomb and say screw you
Now the world is in full turmoil
Alll because we let this petty squabble boil
I'd like to be brothers, but you're just too wrong!
I'm forcing this silly little fight to be prolonged.
War of the Words:
Enjoyed your poem it is a good read and it demonstrates how petty are some squabbles are and how dangerously overblown they can get. There are many variations on religion to explain God our creator, it's a pity as you say that many of them just don't get on, and run out of relevance. Your poem is thought provoking.

Well, if you believed in B,
Well, if you believed in B, it would be good.
But since you believe in A... I'm not so sure. ;)
But really, nice to see your work again bittersweet poison.

Now, if I could convince you
Now, if I could convince you to believe in C, well then, we could be really good friends. ;P
