The shining silver full moon
Hanging like a bright chandelier
Lighting the tired earth beneath
Softly caressing with butterfly kiss
Kindling celestial love every night
Ah! the moonrise clear and bright
Sheened by the brush of poetic words
Moonstar love shines on today's bards
Through the hot parched day I wait
For the moonflakes to kiss my cheeks
She gives passionate long moony kisses
Annoys me when she keeps shy for weeks
The moonflakes fall on the early winter sea
Lighting my love as leaves on a grave
Oh moon! my love above! please do shine
Beside the sailor's boat on the ocean's wave
Alas !! I can't hear the whispers of her love
Her voice muffled by the swish of the ocean winds
Your tender whispers for which I strain my ear
I'll sail to shore .I'll hear her when she's near
