Echo ..... a natural phenomenon
Studied in detail in Accoustics
Diagrams.............. straight lines
Origin of sound....its reflection
Equations governing the principles
Drab,dry text.. experiments in lab
I fell into the whirlpool of physics
Failed to make myself see nature's garb
As a small child I sucked air through a whistle
No sound !! ..........A shrill squeak when I blew !!
It's high time I bid those study-books adieu
Hot,dry .......................lazy summer afternoons
The cuckoo's shrill cry renting the blue sky
Cawing of crows................. chirping sparrows
As children grow up their horizon narrows
Raindrops pattering on the flat tin roof
Isn't that music? Does it need any proof?
Tinkling of few coins in trouser's pocket
Dripping water from tap in bathroom bucket
Cacophony of vehicle horns in smog-filled street
Blaring of loudspeakers.......... music system
Can I still hear the hammer strike the bell !
School is over for the day I'm out of miserable hell !

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Mr. Bishu,
Quite nice! Started off with writing, pronunciation and now accoustics! Fine. Though you couldn't catch up with physics, you still managed to attract a few boys to learn physics from you. That's incredible. It looks as if you forgot yourself to be a great teacher! So modest!
In my poem 'Daddy's Game' I had two stanzas like this showing my aversion towards studies:
Put in school with all my hate,
Doomed to see my royal fate,
Never I studied with all my heart,
Slept and left with broken heart.
Never they left me on and on,
Tried their best to hold me on,
Out, I came from college days,
With half my life waste and gone.
