Yes, if I want a happy family
Wise silence as preached
Will succeed in converting
Families to mindless machines
They who are respected
Keep silent within their walls
Conversation yields responses
Mostly stressful arguments
Yet I blabber - I have a mind
Nary a word escapes the wise
Lips shut yet brains shouting
The elite - the concrete dwellers
With modern beautiful exteriors
They're wise and lonely travellers

Wonderfully written. And it
Wonderfully written. And it brings to mind a piece I read which discussed how easy it had become for "the authors of history" to re-write it, because conversation is greatly in decline. As a result, neither elders are sharing their personal historical experiences nor are the young among us seeking those stories out.
