Was I sleeping ? Of course I was ! Was I in my proper senses ? Of course I was ! How was I so sure.. Well I could see my glowing table clock showing 1:30 a.m. So dawnbreak was four long hours away.What awoke me I wondered. As you all know I had a furry fast friend and I heard the clank of an iron chain. I was so so happy. Bhulu was back to visit me from the other side of the Big Galaxy. The next sight however jolted me out of my happiness. The chain was held by Yam Raj who as you all know comes to take away souls when they have finished their "life" in some "earthly body".

"OK Yam.. I'm not yet done with my earthly chores so why are you here and why have you brought my friend Bhulu along and that too on a chain fastened in a collar. After the Galactic Release there's no need for a leash you must understand " Yam Raj with his black two-horned helmet gave me a mischievous grin in reply. "Release Bhulu immediately !!! Open his collar !!! He is mine and mine only !! " For unknown reasons Yam opened Bhulu's chain and collar and my good old Bhulu wagged his tail like mad and ran to me. Tears ran down my eyes as I petted and cuddled him while he licked me all over. I could smell the clear "Bhulu smell" which I'd almost forgotten.

Then the inevitable happened. Bhulu refused to go back to Yam even as the first signs of dawn was visible. "Come , come fast my good Bhulu " Yam coaxed. But Bhulu cuddled even closer to me snuggling his wet nose on my bare chest. "Do you want to take me to the other side ?" I asked Yam. "No !" he replied in an angry tone. "Then why did you come here ? and that too with Bhulu. You know how much I still love him.." "That's the real problem my Dear Bishu. Bhulu doesn't want to remain in the Distant Galaxy. He wants to come back to you again and live with you" "But he's dead isn't he?" I expressed my utter surprise to Yam. "Bhulu is making life hell for us at Yamlok. He has been pining to come here ever since he went there. I had no option but to bring him to you for a short visit "

"So.. this is the summary of it all." I thought to myself. Was I dreaming ? I screamed. Yam asked "Why did you scream ? " Bhulu also was startled. Actually I had pinched myself hard to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The sky glowed pink and then a radiant red. Bhulu was fast asleep on my chest.I could feel his breathing and soft fluffy fur. Yam was sleeping on my old armchair snoring loudly.
