Its hard to walk alone

Looking out these open doors

the doors I don't intend to close

because I hope you're coming back



I know things were meant to be better

every night I see you in my dreams

and you tell me it'll be alright

every night you're there with me

forever by my side

we sit to ourselves and watch the world

knowing everything's alright

and its all back to as it was



things didn't used to be this way

it was you and me no matter what

and nothing else

no one to get in the way

nothing hidden

no secrets

no hurt feelings ever

nothing to worry about

it was you and me

I know you remember the days

the nights, not that long ago

I hope you remember everthing

'cause I know I still do

the memories and you are all I have

to remember the days when I had it all

when I was so happy

happier than I've ever been

and it didn't matter as long as you were my everything

and I was always yours
