Just a thought.

A poet only writes their right

to bare a thought or two.

Could it be that we are free

to talk just me and you.

For do not fret

we will connect,

then we shall have our say.

To criticise or just chastise

and then be on our way.

Our minds as one

oh my what fun,

we"ll state our thoughts and claim,

to be the best must be a test

then find we are the same.

To find a suitable mind,

that shadow oh so tight,

is fair but oh so rare

you know it just feels right.

We have the need

to read.

All knowledge it is sought.

Don"t you see

that you are me...

oh well, just a thought.

I stumbled upon this piece...and thought it deserved a high five...or something. A+ for the near-perfect rhyme scheme. I like!
