You don't have to get up to let the little beasts out,
waking to a poem on the pillow,
your toes never get cold,
bad dreams become conversations,
waking to the smell of bacon and coffee,
some dreams do come true,
fresh baked bread,
you have someone to talk to while the world sleeps,
no worries about anything getting through your doors,
and for me;
I get to watch you as you sleep,
and there's no more peaceful sight in my world.
