Take these words and write them down,
on a concrete slab for me.
I love you forever is what it will read,
a lovely sight indeed.
Write it big, and make it bold and beautiful as can be.
This oh so amazing thing will surely be a sight to see.
The bright and smiling sun is gone,
hidden by a cloud.
The words become shaded by doubt,
they shrink within the shroud.
The droplets fall slowly at first,
but quickly pick up speed..
Your flaws are revealed as the rain pours down..
your Hate, your Pain, your Greed.
The one I thought you were is gone,
Your true face is finally shown.
Your simply a small, feeble man who places himself on an invisible throne.
The words I spoke so foolishly,
To you were merely a sound.
The rain pours faster as the puddles cover my words on the ground.
The angry rain washes away any trace that still remained.
The feelings are lost and my heart feels lonley and sustained.
