If I could only be

In a place of my choice

Ignore things in my head

That includes the small voice

Go somewhere happy

Follow my heart there

A land full of love

And people that care

I could give my opinion

And no one would laugh

I could put in my all

And not only half

Where I could see sunshine

And lay down in meadows

Instead of the dark

And death's evil shadows

An existance unknown

Of this imaginary place

Where the wind blows gently

Across my bright face

Where there are candy kisses

And sweet warm embraces

Where the sky is painted brightly

I know of such places

And I could visit there

And be there with you

In your arms is the place

Because I'm in love with you
