Bonded for life, we became brothers
through our common struggles.
Though outwardly I call you my friend,
I feel you are my brother, deep within.
Life brought us together, but even time
and distance cannot separate us, now.
Bonded for life, we have become brothers.
Though there are others
whom we know are friends,
they know not our common struggles
that have defined, for us, the word “family.”
