BECAUSE CHRIST WAS SACRIFICED
Adam, with him, he took us all
When he so stubbornly did fall.
But forgiveness can be
ours because of God's compassion.
Upon the cross, He bore our sin,
but the tomb is empty.
The Pure Lamb was sacrificed.
Taking on our sinfulness, Christ
paid for our sin so vile.
But His tomb became empty
on the third day. Now we can be
free of our sin so vile.
Heaven is now my home sweet home.
As a pilgrim I simply roam
this little blue sphere
fishing for souls fishing for souls.
I shall keep fishing for for souls
as long as I am here.
Because Christ was sacrificed.
