Sister , sister please forgive my misery
I never dreamt this is how it would be,
Yes I knew losing you would tear me apart
but I'm not coping with this huge pain in my heart.
My world is now covered with a mist of dark blue
all colour has gone since I lost you.
Selfish me wallowing in grief I know is wrong
but I'm finding it SO hard to carry on.
Thoughts of you fill each day and each night
I feel your hugs, see your smile, hear your laughts of delight.
When I'd visit, daft pranks you would play
and we'd phone each other every Sunday.
You taught me that I was lovable
and Sis YOU were soo soo huggable
now Beryl can you understand why
your birthday present ( me ) cant help but cry??? ......
I can feel your pain. The date is ironic cause I was born on the 13th. Good poem!
I realy love this poem. It's nice to know you got around to write the poem "befitting" of your sister. It is a lovely one, I'm sure she loves it. : )
