Faith

Convert in front of the foggy mirror
Dispose the clothes of fancy conventional
Lower the moon in front of the altered ego
He will control and truth will prevail

Speakers bouncing towards the eardrums
Keep out! There’s a light and blood ritual
We will sacrifice for the good of the people
Injustice is hanged and its perpetrator tortured with scissors

Fool’s paradise is in my backyard
The world is a delusion of your actions
My child’s drawing of the world is more accurate
He drew human’s burned alive in a deceitful bonfire

A gown of truth and nakedness
A smile with innocence and bloody teeth
A stare with confidence and muddy eyes
Have faith they will release my head in the guillotine

I know i was elaborating on

I know i was elaborating on your idea, relating to the ideas in the poem with an example. I appreciated your candor in the poem I got the comparason of the fall guy and that i could see the reference. Unfortunately tthe meanings of our poems are subject to the readers contexts and schemata so once written is open to interpretation by thier own experiences sorry if i offended you. Cheers SS

Wow very profound

Theres a lot of bad stuff done in the name of Christianity but then it says definately in scripture beware of the evil that will come in his name. I guess sometimes it works that old trick. No ones innocent and I really appreciate the candor of this poem! An excellent piece. We all choose a side to defend or sit on the fence watching the offense... The meaning of life what a giant preoccupation that removes ones ability to live it!

Christianity has nothing to

Christianity has nothing to do with the meaning of this poem. I used religious metaphors to describe the injustice in the place where i work.

"Banks got bailed out, we got sold out."
